Top Dog Parks in

the Northern Virginia Area

Looking for something to do this weekend with Rover?  We have been researching Dog Parks in the area and have found these to be some of the best (in no particular order).

Rock Hill District Park (Originally Quinn Farm)

15150 Old Lee Rd, Chantilly

What makes this park great?  It is a large park for puppies to play and make new friends.  The park has a capacity for 90 dogs, that is a lot of new friends to make.  There is a separate area for small dogs (25 pounds and under).  The best part of this park, in our opinion, is the off-leash area!  Wow! Not many parks allow our furbabies to be off-leash, romping around and easily making new friends.  There is a fenced in area that well-mannered pups can take advantage of free play.

Shirlington Park

2601 S Arlington Mill Dr, Arlington

This park was voted Best of NoVa 2015 by Northern Virginia Magazine.  It is an 11.5 acre park that is along the Four Mile Run Trail.  Great news! This is another park that is
off-leash for our furry friends.  Tons of space to run, frolic, and make new friends.

Chandon Dog Park

900 Palmer Dr, Herndon

This park features separate areas for large and small animals.  Pups have wading pools to play in and drinking water is readily available.  A nice place to visit , play off-leash, run, and take a refreshing dip.

Dulles Gateway Dog Park

4508 Upper Cub Run Drive in Chantilly

This beautiful, fenced-in park is open from dusk to dawn and has many easy walking trails through the woods.  This is another no-leash-required park and is very serene.  The park is tucked away in a quiet spot, backing up to South Riding near the Chantilly Auto Park.
